Elite UI Crashing <EliteUI Compilation v010507 *LU30 Compatible!*>

I am crashing when invited to grps. So I get the invite but when I hit accept I am crashing and it wasn't just this UI Goldi's UI was doing the same. I like both as they both have thier own tweaks but I would just like for one to work as I SOOOOO Hate the default UI.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions anyone could give me.

This happened to my wife's character as well. Solution to fix: Unfortunately, delete the character.ini file in the eq2 game directory. Then log back in, with whatever UI you use, and reposition all your windows. The group crash to desktop will go away.

This is happening to a lot of people over the past several days, regardless of the UI. There are a ton of threads about this issue on the Tech Support, General and Test Server boards.

Resetting the ini file will help for awhile but will probably not resolve the issue as it currently appears that the problem is on SOEs end. They have stated that they are looking into it and should have a hotfix pushed out early this week.

You all are right. I am getting a lot of feedback from guildies who use custom UI's about frequent crashes and it seems to be accepting groups. The .ini fix apears to work for a bit but then I have to redo it thx for the input guys and hopefully SOE gets a fix out there for us because I think I am going to take some time off for a while till its fixed.
