EoF changes (bag UI)
Does anyone have an updated bag UI that works with live update 29? Looking for something that has reduced size and no borders.

I made this one today with a bit of modding on the new default one.. it takes a little playing with. The width seems to save correctly, but I know at least one person who is having trouble with the heights... maybe someone more experienced can make it better.
It's more of my quick fix till a truly skilled person can take the time to make a real window. =)

I know it's a bit buggy. So I left it resizable for now. =) Hoping someone can make a good one again soon! I can't stand the default bags.

Yeah, I was having to stretch it to see the last row on my 32 slot boxes but its alot better than the default size.

Thanks for this helped me get my bags back. Just for info/feedback on it, I'm also having height issues with anything more than one row staying shown. I can resize to the good ol' 6 across and then the proper number of rows but after I close and reopen the bags snap back to one row only. Resizing the first row to show all slots in the bag (12 slots for exapmple) will stick between closing and opening bags though so that's a relief =) Thanks for making and posting this!

Wow this expansion sucks regarding bags. Is there anybody who can remove the title from the bag? I used to have a vertical bags mod that showed all bags in a single column. I would love a horizontal and/or vertical mod. I just like a clean bags mod that shows nothing but the bag icons. I dont even use the close button.
I tried using the UI builder but that thing is just garbage, crashes and cannot save my files.
Pardon the rant I'm just frustrated and would like to get back to playing the game rather than rearranging my windows so I can see the game.

You have saved my sanity.
The default bags were making me crazy, and I was about to give up (yes because of the dang bags, believe it or not) until someone came out with a fix.
I'm not one of those "quit at the drop of a hat" type, and was honestly suprised at how nutty this was making me.
So again, thank you!!!

Another big thanks!
I thought I was the only one crazy enough to think of quitting over bags but I knew I couldn't play the way the default bags were working.
Until this issue is solved, thanks from me for at least letting me play the game

Even with my poor vision the default bags are HUGE and having big bag/boxes open takes up nearly the whole screen, this is just silly.
Thanks very much for this mod, I am giong to try it out when the servers come back up

Even with this mod, I am still considering putting my account on hold. I am usually one who rolls with the changes but this update has made managing 30+ slot bags a nightmare.
I used to have a mod that would display all bags vertically, in the same place every time I opened them. Hotkeyed the "." key to toggle open and close and "B" to open and close all bank bags and I had all my bags infront of me. Each was grouped in vertical columns, 8 bank columns, 4 shared bankd columns, 6 inventory bag columns.
At my screen resolution, 32 slot bags or boxes fit perfectly up and down, top to bottom. My main is an ogre SK so he can carry all Rosewood strong boxes as bags.
Everyobody send lots of feedback to the devs to get this fixed ASAP.

I've been using this mod to test it out and, while the bags want to keep resizing, I've found that the horned backpack and rosewood boxes stay put, while the stonehide bags always want to lose their bottom row. This is at 6-slots wide, btw. Also the "Bag of Sewn Evil Eye" from the Foomby's HQ and "Large Collector's Pouch" (I think that's from the TS quest) stay put. I have no idea why this would be the case, but thought I'd add this input in the hope it's of some use to someone who knows how to program these things.

I've confirmed bag window height is currently hard-coded to assume 4 slot columns. This means bags with more than 4 columns will have extra space (empty rows) at th bottom. Those with less than 4 columns will have rows at the bottom clipped.
I've requested SOE port the Hotkey window sizing code and icon sizer window call to the bag window. Its now officially on their schedule for next LU (though they can't promis anything).
What this should do is give us in-game, individually configurable bags. Future Bags should allow right-click access to the icon sizer window to set the icon size individually for each bag. Each bag will also be resizable, with the same snap to nearest icon edge features of a Hotkey window. So any bag can be set to any number of columns, with any icon size

Yeah, hope they fix it real soon. I use ThorUI, and it's a big pain to /loadUI to default just to see what is in the bottom row of my bags. I absolutely LOATH the default bags. I know it seems miniscule, but space for bags is a huge problem. When you have mostly 24+ slot bags, it gets pretty crowded on screen when trying to see them all at the same time using default.
I tried using the file posted above, but for some reason it isn't working for me. Perhaps I have it in the wrong folder. Can anyone explain where to put it and how to use it for us techno idiots?

Thor has linked to the Profit bags to be used while he works on a fix for his.
The Profit bags work really well and now there are 2 more to choose from in the downloads section that both look really nice.

My bags hide the bag name
I uploaded my bag mod last night and it somewhat hides the bag name until you hover over the drag bar. Feel free to check it out.
