LU27 button toggle issues

Frankly I have been at it for 4 hours this morning so far. Tried to log in, crashed, error report, wont bother.
Copied Default UI, then started to change elements one at a time. Got to a point where most was working but still had no EQ button and bags were still the default Huge fugly things. Added bag mods, no effect, till the tiny one from here which was too tiny (put it in just to see IF anything was changing or if I was doing something wrong). It changed, they are still too small for me.
Added Command Center and Blam, crashed again.
It's silly, and imo a total waste of time, to have to go through this every time there's a Big live update, but I think the default UI is too ugly to look at, too big, too cumbersome.
