Question Questions about chating while loading and buff timers

Is it possible to mod the zoning xml so that is displays the mainchat window while zoning? (Not sure if it is possible or not, but I know you can recieve tells and stuff while zoning). Tried this myself, but I'm a noob and ended up screwing up my normal UI, and when I zoned, the chat window came up, but with no text and when I clicked on it to try to move it... CTD If anyone could do this, it would be great. Also, is there a way to display the time remaining on the buff windows and maintaining window.
Thanks to anyone that can answer these questions, and even more thanks to someone that could possibly do one, or both, of these things.

Sorry, what windows are loaded durring zoneing is up to the EQ2 Client. Your system is loading alot of information so I would think it would be near impossible to type something in when zoning anyways.

i'm jsut wondering if it takes some eople that long to zone that this feature was needed. i run the game on a p4 2.8 with 1gb ram and a gforce FX5500 card. i can barely run in balance mode with shadows turned off but it doesn't take all that long to zone.

Even if you've got fantastic framerate and graphics quality due to a fast CPU and video card and a lot of ram, you can still take forever to zone if you've got a slow hard drive.

Raid 0, and two 10,000 RPM drives. Zoning? You mean that screen that pops up for 3 seconds? I was wondering why I was always waiting for people on the others side of doors.
