Ammo Count

Is it possible to replace the hotbar icon for "ranged attack" with a copy of the equiped arrow icon that has a countdown of quantity- the one in my active inventory - and keep the countdown active so that I can keep track of #s and use it to attack?

Also as to the question I asked about slash/crush/pierce, I looked at the game data thingy in the uibuilder and it says that the stats are for "mitigated" effects or something like that - does that mean that the data is for negative effects on my slash/crush/pierce output?
