Buffs on others
Having a bit of an issue maybe someone can help me with:
Normaly I don't care, but t7 is starting to make buffs on mob more of an issue. In the default UI there is additional information in the target window that shows the buffs on your target, and again on your implied target. I have noticed that I can get those buffs to pop up, but only for a second before they disapear if i switch targets.
Is this a UI setting somewhere I have wrong? Or is the custom UI not handeling this right?

No it's a UI issue atm  SOE forces the icons to the bottom just past the bottom of the target/implied. In default the window will expand down to show these icons. As you see that will not work in eXtreme because of its lay out. I have put in some code to try and force them to the top and that's why some times you see them and sometimes you don't. ( my code wins the war some times)
Now that the updater is done, I'll work on getting the corrected.

Them are old screen shots that I need to get updated.
Instead of trying to keep up with all the new info, I have incorporated Milquetowst Info Center into the UI as he is up todate on all that info and has made a well rounded package to display it. You can access the info center by pressing the info button on the experience window.

pet window
i love the extreme UI but....because i am a necromancer there are some issues with the pet window, for one it doesnt have the attack, guard me, guard himself, die, or stop combat  it would be VERY helpful if you could include this into your next update

Under the window options toggle the frames and the buttons will show.. Once you do this they will show from then on..

Ok I had tried this UI in the past and there was some issues so I didnt use it. I just downloaded this new version today and installed it but when I go into the game it looks nothing like the images. I have several new looking items on the screen but I have windows that I cant do anything with. I really confused and so Im going to wipe the directory and try again but if anyone else knows why this may be I sure would love to hear from you as this does look like a great UI.

Go to settings, then click on advanced options and set up your uisettings.ini file.

Latest version seems to be missing the "add" button for collections. You can still drag-drop items into collections though...

Some Issues
Hi Landiin,
I have a few problems with the new UI that I made screenshots of. In the 1st screenshot you can see there's a problem with the dropdown menu in the center. The others have blank info for each of those tabs. As for everything else, I have no problems with anything else. Gotta love this UI

Thanx Landin for the help. I was there at that spot but was expecting to be able to edit the settings and did not see a way to do that. Once I selected the ini file and resolution things did start to look right. So far I have noticed though that the targeting and implied targeting does not appear to come up and the pet bar is only showing the pets health and power but none of the options to attack or anything show up. Thats it so far but it does really look good so keep up the good work!

No AA
there is no AA window to spend your points in, unless im bugged, but when i press L i only see tradeskill/utility/adventure.. no AA

Two things could cause this.
1. You are not using the current version
2. you didn't remove the foreign files the updater told you about that could cause issues if not removed.

If it is there in default it should be there in the one I offer. All I did was move the detailes window to the side from the bottom.

That's an issue with the letter box frame. All windows position is relative to the size of the letter box frame. So if you have a different letter box frame setting then what was used setting up the uisettings.ini file things will be off.
You can probably find the targeting windows under the start window. just unlock it and move it out of the way then reposition the targeting windows.
I just fixed the pet window so the command buttons would show. I had mistakenly left in some old code that would switch between icon or button commands. I have taken out the button commands but left in the code to switch between the two. It should be good now. Before you would have to turn off the frames to see the icon commands.

Ah good to hear you resolved the pet window - I moved all the windows that could be possibly covering the targeting and did not find it. I will check it out again and see if there might be something else im missing. Thanx for all your efforts and for being so responsive.

I know this has been asked before .. but when I go from full screen to windowed then back to full the text boxes on the bottom get offset down by about half a text line down .. seems the whole window gets shifted down. I'm pretty sure I have it set so windows can't be shown offscreen so in theory this shouldn't happen .. but it is
Now I'm assuming this could be a sony issue, but in the off chance it isn't is this fixable? I now have 2 chat boxes in the bottom and they both experience the same thing

I think this is a SOE issue. I'll check it with default later but mine does the same thing.

Would like to point out that in the UI Control Panel, the web browser for EQ2Map doesn't resize with the rest of the window.

OK, I'm probably simply not looking in the right place, but....
I can't seem to find the background.dds, in order to change to something else.... Where should I be looking?
BTW I've been using your UI for so long now, I have no idea anymore what the original is like, I love it!
