Hmmm, hadnt given that any thought. May prove tricky. Also, is there an easy way to make the background a black or a dark green? Im UI retarded o.O

No there is no easy way to do it. Each window has its own background, you would have to change each and every one you wanted another color.

Was thinking about it some more and thought that some type of orb may be easier than a staff, it would have a similar shape to the sword.

Orbs might not fit in the space provided where the sword is unless we do a horizontal guage. A Staff with a large orb on the end may work. Use the base of the staff as the guage line and the orb would take the place of the none gague side of the bar. By looking at the widget the sword dimensions (Full size) is 650 by 150 and it scales down accordingly to the UI. There is not a lot of height provided there to get a good circular xp bar. Now if a staff does not work there's got to be something else a caster/priest can use .. just need to come up with an idea. Maybe a dragon laying down or something extreme like that :P

Here is a sreenie of the new exp and inventory windows. The size and placement on some labels nees to be tweeked but I am happy with it so far.

Examine Item Background
Hi
Is it possible to change the transparent background on the examine item screen to a solid color. Even if its grey like the rest of the UI.
I dont mind if i have to make the adjustments to the extremeUi files myself.
If someone could just point me in the right direction with a few instructions would be fine.
The attachment shows the transparent window i just want to change it to a solid color

They'll all be solid in the next release. However if you wanna do it now, you can edit the file, just changed the opacity property to 1.00 from .600 in the WC_Background page of that file.

I'm so hooked on this UI! I've tried all the Tyejae's and keep crashing changing chars... this works PERFECTLY. The only thing I've been wanting to change was getting rid of transparancies. I've read that will be fixed w/Next update.
So, am I to assume we'll have a quick release for LU16? Gotta not take my jones away from me. Hooked solid.
And I'm sure this has been spewed elsewhere... The tool tips...GAH! I hate them over my hotbars... can the Tooltil for hotbar items be places stationary somewhere? That'd be awesome. Since SoE did that Large tool tip thing, I've not liked it. Either have to make it So transparent it doesn't bother you, but you sometimes need to read. Or make it so small to not worry about it but wish it was big, again, when you need to read the tool tip.
Anyway, Are ya gonna be ready come LU16? ::Crosses Fingers::

No hotfix for lu16, it'll be a full download, lots of styles have changed.
I doubt I change the new pop up other they skinning it. It can be customized in the option all the way down to nothing so I don't really see a need to change it when others might like the in your face tooltip, I don't but every one has there thing I just cut it down to size in the options.
Yea, I am hopen to have it out by patch day.

I so hope you get the update out today. I love this UI and have used it for as long as I can remember it being on eq2interface. Guess I going back to default till it is released. The changes to the whole ranged slot and moving around of all the slot will most likly mess with the UI to much till you get the time to get the new patch out. I have had 12 of my guild members turn to your UI and start using it. All of them said they love it. So keep up the good work

The MAIN HUD ( play screen ) is complete, so if I can't get the rest skinned in time for the LU, I will release that part so you don't have to use the defalt for that part.

Oh ****e! I missunderstud when this was going live.. I am at work ATM when I get hope I will get what I have done uppped so you can use. Take in account that windows like you inhouse merchent,stor trade skill, will be default ones till I get them reskinned in a couple of days. I shouldn't of spent so much time on the new inventory but I think its a lot more workable now then it was before.

What do I do? I needs my EXTREMEUI!!
Do whatever it takes, I can go back to default for the interm.
This is the main reason I never used a UI until I discovered yours. SOE likes the randomly jack **** up. You spend the first 5 days after a patch fixing the UI then get about 2 weeks before they hack it all up again.

I am so sorry for not haven this ready by LU16 going live. Just been to busy but I should of had a hotfix up never the less.
Witht that said, I am upping the main HUD for you guys and WILL have the rest done by Monday.

UPGRADING TO 2.16
You need to uninstall eXtremeUI ( you may want to back up your current one ). Then install 2.16. DO to the many changed windows and the way they work you can't just install over the old one  .
Note that This install only has the main display hud done  With the lack of time and the amount of changed SOE out ran me this time. I WILL have the complete skin ready for installation by Monday.
Again sorry for falling behind and not having this ready for an easy transition.

Some post LU16 issues have showned their ugly faces
Target Window .. the target and implied showing the same Target ...
If I click on a target say Elise's Handmaiden .. I get name on both bars but the health bars are not the same .. if I click on tank .. say Smith I'll get smith on target and smith on implied but target with be smith's HP's and implied is the targets's HP's . its odd and wierd .. and confusing
No Large xp numbers but have the small vit %
But love the new stats window 
Blue power bar is in the very middle of the target health bar.
Health Hud not working
Illusion and hood buttons not working due to overriding check boxes in the persona window
And thats about it that I've come across tonight .. not sure if you knew of any of that before hand or not...

First off let me say this is the first UI i have ever used and omg i cant get over how cool it is. Quick question though and you may have addressed it before but i missed it...why doesnt the harvest info button work,or showhood, or hide illusion? Did i do something wrong with install? Oh also for some reason what ever i target doesnt show in the target window. If i target myself it says im a 36 guardian and i have 100% hp but it doesnt actualy say my name. Thanks in advance for any info.

UPDATE 2.16.1 Update awaiting an admins aprovel
UPDATE INFO- You can once again turn your illusion on and off via the quick buttons
- You can once again turn your hood on and off via the quick buttons
- Added the active quest window I left out in 2.16 ( no more defalt in the HUD ).
- Added the bags back in that I forgot to put in. ( boy did I miss theme )
- Your debuff icons once again report what type of debuff has been placed on you.
- The Health HUD has made a return. ( I used the memorize window for this and SOE took that window out of the game eek.. It now uses the player window so you can also access it by useing that shortcut key combo)
- I found the large Exp window and made it start showing up.
- Added a power percent to the target window. In 2.16 I moved the targets power bar to the middle of its health bar to increase the size of the health bar. like, dislike? Let me know.

Oh one more little error since the last version.
The Main Hotbar (top, middle) have a count problem with the slots.
The Slot0 is known as Slot1 and Slot1 is correct known as Slot1.
Also you have two Slot1
You count 1-1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9.
