Nope, not a similar matter at all. All my buttons are where they are supposed to be, I am running on standard dpi settings, and at 1024x768. Just seems as tho the html commands for the display window there are not being interpeted, they are being displayed.

Just to add I am using a gf6800, with the latest certified nvidia drivers.

Thanks for the it's not firefox help tho, I figured a lot of people using mods would be......

But still, the quest for the answer goes on.......

Open up your logfile.html..sorry that IS the correct file. It's generated from a resource string on the newer versions of the app and some computers have problems with this. It should be a simple html file that defines some styles to use when displaying the log file.

You can also delete it and see if it regens correctly. If not I'm gonna have to take the time to make another AU upgrade (one I've been putting off but probably needs to get done).

After the initial screen there in black font, it switches to white font on white background, no can read. Not a big deal, but pretty ugly. And yes, I did compress the pic before uploading, that's why the pixelation.... it all still works, just looks ugly. Any ideas or help??

The problem is the logfile is corrupted.
I had the same problem as did someone else. If you open the logfile and view the source code there is a space (sometimes two) between each character. I tried numerous reloads to fix the problem, but it didn't work.
So, I edited the logfile by deleting all the spaces between the characters and saved the file and now it works perfectly. Strange that every time it downloaded,the file was corrupt ; yet, changing it on my computer and overwriting the file fixed the issue.

I did delete the file a number of times and it does always come back corrupted. There are spaces in between almost every character, sometimes 2 chars then a space. When I open the file to edit, it displays 1 or 2 chars per line only and it's hundreds of lines long. I've tried editing the spaces out manually twice, and messed up not to far in both times, so I'm not gonna bother anymore. If someone wants to cut and paste theirs here, I'd be happy to cut and paste it into mine. Thanks for the solution, and thanks to whoever posts a good logfile.html here for me to copy.

Since LU13 pallys have Piercing skill in the adventure book I bought a Piercing weapon went to El to get it up to the same point as slashing and crushing,But when I check my persona screen Slashing/Crushing and Piercing all have 0s behined them and on the skill screen it has 174/174 for Slashing but when I was playing last night I switched back to a slashing weapon and it ding to 183/183 all my other skills have 183 on the right side of the / mark but fighting skills like crushing/slashing/piercing have 174 but when I use and of the diff types of weapons it show like for piercing 128/183 at the top of my screen not sure if this is a Thor UI problem or what just thought id let you know.

This UI is great and i love it, but i have one little problem with the custom shutdown. I don't know if i was made some mistake but, when i try to change the char i receive a message "Can't find server" and the game is shutdown.
I need to make some change to shutdown run well?

bah editing, cutting and pasting this didnt help either with the HTML thing. Deleting didnt work either, tried that several times.

I cant get my start button with the sliders to work either. Tried selecting under advanced several times as well. Seems to be bugged.

Also experiencing alot of lag with the UI installed, got a great connection, 6800gt nvidia. only happens with the UI. Its just real choppy. I tried taking several options out and it still lags. Any suggestions?

I did fix the text issue changed from 120dpi to 96dpi, that one at least solved

Select the "..." button next to this feature. It has about and a link to the author's page, which will give you some special instructions for configuring this issue.

The copied and pasted one a few msgs above looks pretty much like mine, sometimes, and doesn't work. But thanks Faelen for sending me his and it does work for me now. Gotta hold onto that file in case something happens and the program tries to regenerate it again.....

Mine is doing the same thing... with the logfile? Also, the date/time stamps on my default window placement files are 1/1/05, 1:00AM. Is this correct?

All of my window placements are messed up, even after Options/Advanced/Window Wizard.

The persona window section regarding piercing, slashing, and crushing are in the resistances section and are indeed resistance data not skill data.
When you get higher lvl you get a selection to become resistant to piercing, slashing, or crushing and I thought it would be nice to display that for those who chose it.

The skill window data is locked and any strange data read issues would be from SOE as all my UI does is "catch" their data and display it to the user.
To sum it up: That looks like a bug report for the skill data.

This is one of those windows where the user must modify it in order for it to work.
Check the about screen for that selection for "how to" its the ... button in the features section.
Quick explaination: you need to open the xml and replace the character entry with your character name and the server entry with your characters server name.

autoupdate change from edited xml to original xml. lol

I got around this issue by deselecting the module once I had made the changes. That way it won't look for it again. I'll just leave it until I know there is an update for it or the shutdown function starts acting wonky.

Cool, that was the original fix for it but I believe Robert added a feature (under options) to not update newer files.

I saw this question asked once in the thread here, but I never saw an answer. Everything is working great in the UI (thanks Faetyl !), but the chat windows are missing their tabs. I have tried about everything I can think of (including deleting and reinstalling ThorUI).

Any suggestions?

Unless you use my window placements file provided "optional" you must set these up for yourself by right clicking the chat area and choose "new chat tab".

I have completely uninstalled ThorUI, re-downloaded the Auto Updater, got the same corrupted HTML file upon first update, and my windows continue to look like the attachment, even after going through the Window Wizard.

Again, I don't know if it matters, but the date/time stamp on the ThorUI uisettings files are 1/1/2005 1:00 AM.

Any ideas what might be preventing me from getting these windows successfully arranged by default? I'm trying to use the regular 1280x1024 resolution. (If anybody would like to post a working uisettings file, that'd be awesome, too.)

I *LOVE* the UI, but I'm really lazy about re-arranging so many windows - there's nothing like having that done automagically!

You're gonna kick yourself
You're playing in "full screen" aka no black border/widescreen view.
Therefore you need to use my "full screen" window placement file.

If you were to go in and move the black border out to widescreen again you will notice all windows are configured to "stick" to the frame.
This is SOE's programmers doing not mine, so don't kick me
