Well, after reading this, I deleted,downloaded again, and completely reloaded it and I can find no button in the persona window that does anything. There is nothing but the normal "Change your name" and "Edit" buttons.

/shrug

Also, with the new install, all I see when I open the guild bank is a black mass. No slots, not buttons, nothing.

Just a big, black square blob.

I don't know what I have done wrong. It was a complete deletion and download-installation. Including each character-specific ui settings file.

I posted once and asked and no one answered does anyone know how to fix the no self picking issue? It really makes it much harder to play. I love this UI and would hate to have to leave it over that. But as a healer it makes it tough to do everything when I can't just mouse over myself when I need saving.

go into your OPTIONS (alt o)
select USER INTERFACE
on the RIGHT side after you select the subheading User Interface (from the left side of options window), select PICKING... (it's the 2nd one on the list)
then just click the box to allow picking in the 3rd person

Yeah it won't let me pick the box it's just there and grey when I click it nothing happens. It doesn't even show a check in the box when I click it. It's been that way since the release of the expansion. I've even tried deleting and reinstaling the UI and it doesn't work.

r_allow_player_picking true

Meridius, sounds like some images didn't extract to your Fetish/images directory. Open the zip and manually drag any missing images to the locations listed in the zip.

Wolferous, the entire Game Options selection list is inserted by the server based on a few templet item. If any checkboxes are working, they all should.

The persona bar button is in the title bar, on the left side next to the minimize button... if you have your title bar hidden, that could be why you're not seeing it.

Yeah this is an issue that has happened to me but it was happening before LU13 and after. It only happens when I use Fetish otherwise it's available. I did put the setting in the ini so I can use it. I believe this issue appeared during Fetish 4.4

Shaggineq2 and Kromulis, I've rechecked the Proxyactor file mob name area code and its identical to the current SOE code.

I don't see what from the provided samples is inconsistent.

SOE only provides 1 border graphic for all arrow ups 1-3, which they call the heroic tier. In Nightfall targets, this fancy border is replaced with a graphical text label HEROIC. Nothing I can do will force a differentiation on the graphic between 1, 2 and 3 arrow ups. Same goes for no arrows and 1 down using the AVRG graphic or double and tripple downs using the WEAK graphic.

I have requested SOE provide us with seperate graphic indicators for each arrow value.

Also be aware, an encounter can be labeled epic (per the small text) while none of the individual mobs in the pack are epic (indicated by the graphical label in the target window and fancy borders around mob name). Zek Vallon Savage packs are one example of this. No individual mob in the pack is epic, but the combined strength of the pack makes it an Epic encounter.

Individual mobs that are Epic will show an EPIC graphical label with epic boarders around the mob name.

Please provide some screenshots if I'm mistaken (which is possible).

Well how about just reskinning the new default target windows and proxyactor file with just the fetish color as an optional file. I for one like the way SOE setup the indicators now better than yours but like the color scheme from fetish.

I tried adding that line to the eq2recent.ini file and it didn't work and I checked the other check boxes in my options window and they all work. Any other ideas?

Firstly a huge thanks for this UI, it is so nice to use.

I have an odd problem. I installed this same UI on both my and my wife's pc, and whilst everything works fine we've noticed one small discrepancy. On my xp bar it shows the numerical value in the format 12.3% yet on her xp bar it shows it as 12.34 - ie no % symbol and 2 decimal places display.

I looked in the folder to see if it was an optional display, but didn't see it, and didn't expect to as I installed both from the same files. Also can't find an option ingame either. Wondered what is causing this, if anyone knows?

try adding it to you eq2.ini file

r_allow_player_picking true

I have it there and it works fine and won't matter if you change your settings it'll stay there.

Thanks Krom that got it working. It's so nice to have that working again. Even if it wasn't a big deal it just makes you feel like you can produce better when you have everything the way you are comfortable with it.

I don't know why but I crash to desktop when I Alt+Enter. It's really aggravating because when I open my music player when I'm in game already it minimizes EQ and I can't alt enter back cause of the ctd's. Is there any way to fix this?

Todays patch broke both the merchant and guild bank windows. For now, just delete eq2ui_mainhud_guildbank.xml and eq2ui_inventory_merchant.xml.

Great UI, but I've been having a problem recently with my open inventory bags randonly closing, usually after combat. Has anyone else had this problem? Is this a Fetsih problem or is it a SOE bug. Any help is appreciated

There is another problem also. The new Lottery window is entirely black except what looks like a tomb stone.

to fix lotto issue can copy the eq2ui_mainhud_lotto.xml from the default ui folder to your fetish folder

and add the following line to the eq2ui_mainhud.xml file (edit using notpad)

<include>eq2ui_mainhud_lotto.xml</include>

That's not all that is broke.

You can't repair armor and when you petition it won't search the knowledge base. This seems like a font issue like when they introduced smooth fonts.

When you try to repair armor nothing shows up to be repair even though items are damage.

Reverting to the default UI fixes everything.

the repair merchant uses the same file as eq2ui_inventory_merchant.xml deleting it does fix it, i have already tried
