What I mean is to drop out of full-screen (Alt-Tab), bring up Task Manager, and select "End Task". Then wait a minute or two while Windows reaps EQ2. And then restart EQ2.

In essence, a kill -9, just that Windows doesn't have anything as nice as kill -9.
