Opening just one particular bag..?
Is it possible to set a hotkey or something so that one particular bag is always opened by pressing it? I have found that as a conjuror, I am carting around a massive number of activatable items, and need to put them all in one bag. Is there any way I could open it with the press of a key or something..?
THanks for any help!
This just seemed like a job for EQ2 interface.

Haven't tested this, but I believe you can drag the pack from your inventory to your hotbar to create a hotkey for it.

Alas, no. Sounded like a reasonable idea, though! Any other ideas?

I believe there's a command-line equivalent to opening a bag, but if I remember right the argument structure is funky. Other than that I can only suggest a MainHUD.Inventory mod that includes the bag (slotXX) you want to open (I, for instance, keep one with both my activatable, both ring, and ammo slots visible.)

Wow, can you link to where I would get that on here, or if you haven't posted it, a screenshot instead? : ) I am up for designing a new mod!

You can set a hotkey to open all bags, but I know of no way to open a single bag.
Options -> Controls -> Window Keys (I think)

FWIW, I tried for several hours one day to get the command line working predicatbly with no useable results. It appears to be only partially functional. Forget the exact command... something like /bag_open 0,0,0.
It takes 3 arguments that I think were supposed to be:
containerspace(inventory, bank, shared, vault)
window position.
container slot
Unfortunately the 3rd argument doesn't appear to do what it should. You can get it to show your inventory slots, your bank slots, shared slots, or vault slots, but I never did get it to reliably show the contents of a bag. Under the right cercumstance, you could manage to show the contents of the last bag opened, but it wasn't reliable. Quite possible its expecting text values for one or more of those arguments.

Well, using /bag_open, I can always get the leftmost bag in my inventory to open. Nothing even different from that.
I think it'd be worth getting this to work, because someone like me, who has like 15 activatible items that I need to access at any given moment, would really find it useful.
Opening all my bags in combat is irritating, but opening one of them could be debt-preventing.

Could be I'd get better results with a default bag window, but very few ppl that come to this site use a default bag. I theink the slot hide and show scripting tricks we do to work around SOE's auto-sizing was messing up bags opened with the slash command.
