It's already built into the game.

click
- Options
- Controls
- Window Keys
- Open/Close All Bags (last one in the list)

Assign your own button (I use F12) to execute the command to open/close all bags. This will open your inventory bags only. It doesn't work on bank bags (that I have figured out)

Enjoy

I have Alt-i assigned to open all the bags at once. I remember when they added that the first week after launch.

You can make a macro for opeining all 6 inventory bags at once.
The command is: /togglebags

Also, if your using my UI or any UI that's using Goldi's excellent EQII button mod, she has a built in button that does the same thing.

As far as placing the bags in a particular order thats up to the user/player.

Hope this helps,

lol. thnx guys. made a macro. id rather click

was mainly curious if its possible to make a mod that works like the macro, but all your bag slots are condensed into one box (so u dont have to move 6 diff boxes around, just the one) and would be resizable to accomidate for when u aquire larger bags? ..guess i should of clearified a little more

thnx again

Not a bad idea, I know the fealing lol

It would mean that the bag window(s) would have to be contained inside another window.... And that would more than likely stop the bags from working properly, So I dont think this would be possible.... But without actualy trying I am not 100% on that likes
