No, there's no way to get an exact number of experience points you need for a level or the exact number of experience points you'll get for killing a particular mob. The info simply isn't available.

However, as someone said recently in response to a similar question, if you know, for example, that you get 1% experience per kill, you can just tell yourself you need 100 experience points to level, and that you get 1 experience point for each mob.

Back when they were creating EQ2, the devs were even considering not including an XP bar in at all, ya know!

odd i was recently told (since this post) that there was such a mod seen somewhere on thissite roughly 2 weeks ago but cannot be found now but thats very unfortunate im very stat conscious and i relaly like to keep track of figures like that in my game meh guessim spoied from my jedi and my 60 warrior (on wow) if something does come available id like to know though i doubt this thread will stay open that long and on the notion of no xp bar BARF that would have been a mistake on sonys part

also i just thought... there has to be a numerical valuein the coding .... otherwise there would be no way to represent the % of total.... and i jsut think that it would make sense that if for instance u had a lvl that needed 100 xp to lvl.. there would be if/then and other such situations in the code that would say liek fi moster is within green spec it would award X amount of xp .. such as blue and white yellow and orange would award more..i find it hard ot belive that there is no way to graphically represent the numeric code values of such stats.. if u can view the stats there has to be coded values for them and i dont assume it would be hard to modify a gui of sorts to display them

We can only code what SOE gives us. SOE doesnt give us a numerical exp value at this time. Im sure that in the code ON THEIR END, there is some sort of numerical, but it is not sent to us. Since they dont give it to us, we cant show it.

That's really our only way of letting them now what we want. You're right when you say you're not the only one, but a petition won't do a thing.

Post what you want there and maybe something will come up.

Welcome to EQ2Interface.
