first thx alot for the great ui and for all thoose updates

but with the current one and the live-update 10 i got a problem. I updated both at the same time so i can't realy say wich one causes the problem but since i did the font changed. Now a lot texts are thin, small and hard to read.
I had no luck finding a way to get back the font from before the update. Can anyone help me with this?

Default About Font Changes

SOE overhauled the font system so that its not possible to get exactly the same font appearnce as previously used in this set. The curent 4.2 version has been tweaked to get as close as possible with font smoothing enabled.

Unfortunately I had to reduce some font sizes to make this happen, which results in some illedgable text if smoothing is disabled. All fonts smaller than 16pt contained in _FetishStyles.xml were reduced 1 point size. You can try editing _FetishStyles.xml to increse the point size of fonts, but its likely to result in some text clipping.

How can I disable smoothing but keep ledgability?

Fonts - if the unsmoothed are too ugly, there was a fonts XML file that Zonx once posted up here for me, I think its a bit back in the thread. I was having a problem months ago with unreadable fonts and this fixed it. If you can't find it let me know and I'll put that fonts XML file on my INI file dowload page, back in the downloads area.

And after you install EQ2maps FIRST, then FNF - you should be able to use the updater like normal to update your files and autolaunch EQ if you desire.

And there are instruction on how to disbale the disppearing scroll bars someplace back in this thread for those that are looking for it.

Zonx: suggestion - since this one comes up frequently could you maybe put an alternate version in the distro, something like PermaScroll_eq2_mainwhatever_bags.xml for people to just copy over the standard one (like you do with the personality bar and a few others).

Its already in there _simple_eq2ui_mainhud_mainchat.xml.

The Doc file has also included a list of all alternate files with short descriptions since the 4.1 release. Its on page 2 I think, so should be prety obvious for anyone taking the time to read the docs.

Is there a way to set the state of the Persona window? This version is pretty great with all the info including gold and wieght all compacted, but it always comes up in the base long state, so I have to switch it back to the compact box size every time. I tried changing the true/false state of those option buttons in the builder, but it didn't seem to make any difference. Any suggestions?

thanks
