Default Maybe I'm just old, poorer reflexes and can't see as well...

Ok, I'm new to the costum UI's, figured EQ2 has calmed down enough to do something about their UI. For my first UI, I'm using Fetish Nightfall, I like it, but...

This question I don't think is so much just about Nightfall, but might be with all that change the size of the hotbar. Dead space, I believe it's called, took me a while when setting everything up for the first time (I didn't know the dead space was blocking things in it's range), what the problem was with getting them moved and usable. I do see a mod that gets rid of dead space. Will it work with complete sets made by others?

Hotbars: As I said in the title, small isn't always good for me. In combat, the space between the buttons, moving the mouse to them and hitting the new button, all in a hurry, isn't a good combo for me. What I need is "smaller" then stock buttons, but not as small as they are with Nightfall and others I have seen so far, so I can get in that forth hot bar, and no dead space. Is there a way to get just the hotbar buttons alittle larger? Or can someone suggest a UI that might fit the bill better for me?

I do think anything else I'm having a problem with is more of a getting used to it thing, after all, I used the stock UI for a long time.

Thanks for any feed back.

Try useing the keyboard instead of the mouse on hotkeys. It's pretty straightforward once you get used to it.

Lol .. Its not that clear what you actualy want (well to me anyways lol)

Do you want slightly smaller icons than default with no 'dead space'
Or
Smaller icons with 'dead space' ?

Thats both easy to do,

Whats not so easy is you will have to resize stuff about on your UI to make them fit back into the slots allocated for them, As they will of course be a bit bigger then the one's that come with the UI, You with me ?

Slightly larger icons, at least for the hotbars is what I'm looking for, with no dead space around them. I think the rest of the UI is more of a getting used to thing, but hard for me to hit the icons I want when in a hurry, with the current size. Just getting the hot bars closer together might work too. Less mouse movement to get to the next icon.
