Default EQ2Map problems

Hey all, I downloaded EQ2 map probably about 2 months ago, and it's a really helpful program. But about one month ago it started giving me problems, and I just now thought to ask around on the forums for help. =D Anywho, the deal is that when I try to open the updater it gives me this message:

Application has generated an exception that could not be handled.

Process id=0x3a4 (932), Thread id=0xfec (4076).

Click OK to terminate the application.
Press CANCEL to debug the application.

And it won't let me go from there. At the same time that started happening, several of the maps (Antonica, CL, Nek, etc) lost all of their POI's that used to be on there. Anyone have some ideas on this business? Thanks.

I'm no Map Expert but one possibility is that something happend to your .NET framework. Go to http://maps.eq2interface.com/index.php?ID=faq and scroll down to the updater problems section and click the link to install the newest version. This may solve your problem.

Mine started crashing the other day out of the blue, but reinstalling eq2map updater fixed it.

I've tried both of these to no avail, downloaded the .net framework the day I posted this, and I've tried re-downloading the installer at least once that I can remember. I still get the errors, though the addresses of said errors seem to change every time I try to open it. I think I'll try re-downloading the updater today & see how that works. I think I'll also check out the map help thread that I found after this one. =D
