picking a server

Dear People,
Is there any intelligent way to choose a server? I mean, is there anything important that one should know about the different servers? For example, the Antonia Bayle server is RP preferred. What does Role-Playing preferred mean? Also, I heard that the RP Union will pick a server, who are they and why would someone want to play on that server? Are Interface members playing on a specific server?

Just thought I would help out the community a little. Here is a list of which servers on the West Coast and which are on the East Coast. Of course this applies to the US servers. I hope this is an ok place to post this. If not feel free to move it or sticky it, or repost it yourselves.

I hope this helps everyone. I know I ping around 22ms to the West Coast servers and close to 93ms to the East Coast server from here in Las Vegas.


West Coast Servers:

Antonia Bayle (Roleplaying Server)
BlackBurrow
Guk
Najena
Unrest

East Coast Servers:

Befallen
Crushbone
Mistmoore
Permafrost


I found this out by doing a trace route to each server address.
You can check these for yourself.

I was originally going to join the Najena server, but after seeing this and being on the East Coast, I believe I may be going to another one. Hope it helps.
