Not gonna cram more stuff into the default Compass and the DynamicData for loc is slow to update. If someone else wants to toss up an Add-on for this, have at it.

WindowShades were added to most windows in 3.4, including the Journal.

Chumba, sounds like you have the dreded Chat window bug reported to result from a corupted serversettings.ini. Someone posted a file that supposedly fixes the prob over on the Classic support page. Deffinetly not an issue with the UI.
