Option somehow to make more screen show and less controls. I mean like take out the deadspace on hotbars and instead of putting MORE hotbars in there lower the rest of it so its about 3 (6x2) hotbars stacked, thats about perfect height for the bottom. Even if you have to shrink group some.

Invokebane - I've pretty much done your requests as far as showing more screen spapce. Here's a screenie, if your interested I can send you my modded UI. I just took perditions great work, and put my own custom touches on it.

Hello All
Here is some screenies of the new version thaht will arrive soon.
This new version include:
Total bottom part sized down
Abilities for the user to customize the UI:
Power bar with possible disabled graphic corner to move it where you want in the bottom UI
Tradeskill exp can be disable
All stats, coin page can be disable

YAY!
I just noticed that you got the time on that blue and white thing Ive never been able to see the point of, how?? My game time appears bottom left of my screen and my local time appears bottom right! Least that part makes sense now *giggle*

All my hotbars are blacked out instead of grey ? Any ideas whats wrong. I downloaded the 5.5 and made its own folder for it. So no old items are being used.

If you were using the Hotkey with labels it's normal cause I forgot to skin it again with V5.5 version.

Hello All
Update V6 has been uploaded and is waiting for approval
Update V6
All the Bottom parts have been sized down for better in game view.
UI is now customizable by users:
Power guage can be moved with disabled corner graphics
Tradeskill exp graphics can be disable
Coin/stats line can be removed.
To see the possibilities of configuration, look at the Windows.JPG file that you will found in this package.
the screen will show you windows part customization possibilities

One thing I dont understand Perdy, and aye I know you're adapating Tyaes mod.
I can edit dds files no problem, but why is mip maps enabled on them? I thought the idea of mip maps was to help speed up drawing stuff at a distance and as you got closer, ie the further away you are, the less detail you need etc. I can edit the biggest picture no worries, removing all the bits on the bottom I dont want, but as you get down to the smaller ones it becomes impossible, am I doing something wrong and why isnt the hud just one set of images and not 8?
Ive looked at the graphic area of the forums and theres nothing that seems to explain this!

Hello Madhog,
If you wan to modify your DDS file and have Mip map updated, DON'T accept to show them while opening the file. Make your modification then while saving, select Generate MIP MAPS

Ok thats fab Perdi, a huge improvement.
About the only changes I'd request are above the start button, the slope, could you do it so its flat? Then reverse the maintained window so it can fit along the bottom, plan is to rest it along the top of the bottom windows next to the implied target thing? As a healer I tend to not wanna move my eyes too much *giggle*
Id prefer to lose the toothy looking thing sticking out of the bottom of the clock too but cant seem to figure out where that comes from on the dds files.
How could I / we change the ranged slot next to the bags icon? Id prefer to see one of my activable slots than the ranged one for example.
Ive attached my current set up before the servers went down so you can see what Im aiming for!

Give the possibility to remove startbutton overhead corner
Give the possiblity to remove the clock window bottom corner
Correct AC et ATK alignment
Include in the package a eq2ui_mainhud_effects(bottom).xml file that can be rename to eq2ui_mainhud_effects.xml to be able to put the effects window at the bottom.

Not sure if this is a bug because its in your own pics of v6 but the AC and attack numbers are off center.
Also if it would be possible to have the hotkey names of spells like you gave me in version 4. How the spells would have the words. Still best UI mod to date. Thanks

Ok i downloaded and tested v6 out. I love the extra room you made, this is a huge plus in my books. Love to beable to disable stats since just not one of those things i like to see all the time. Sure we check it before a raid but thats it. This new version different is moving in the right direction!
Now here is some issues i still have:

1) chat windows pbm: I have the same problem and I do not know why but it's not related to my UI.Try to start over without my ini file to fix it.
2 - 3 - 4) will be fixed in my future release (I'm currently making a big review of his way of working with graphics)
5) It happens also with EQ2 default UI, I'm having the same pbm but only with my bard.
6 ) Because I can only have three different configuration for one window I d'ont think I will be able to do it.

Thx for the reply, great to hear 2,3,4 will be fixed. #1 wasnt a big issue and #5 only happens with my bard as well. Now for #6, well that just sucks cause i was really looking forward to have EXP bar and Trade bar under it.
Example see Pic #1 (See how nice it looks Who cares about seeing your money all the time hehe. Heck i bet some dont like ot display there money in screenshots if they are poor or rich (fear of spam of beggers)

As said in the Windows.jpg, to be able to access the effects buff window, you have to disable frame AND resize the journal and inventory window to the minimum high.

Window Layout
How do I get the cool layout in the pictures? is there a file i can install that will give me that layout? Is it the .ini file? If it is the .ini file then maybe im using it incorrectly. I rename the .ini and put it in my EQ2 directory and not my UI directory. Could anyone help?
