I'd like to be able to use this to set chat colors back after issues with options window resetting colors, as well as being able to quick apply changes to multiple accounts. Going in and setting each one manually is just ...silly.
I'd found and tried a command /save_colors. It creates a file named whatever is after the command in the main EQ2 directory. So tried "/save_colors omgcolor". Then tried "/load_colors omgcolor" and there was no visible effect. Chat colors did not correspond to those that were in effect at the time the /save_colors was run.
p.s. the file generated by the /save_colors command does indeed contain all the chat colors and their values. File attached after I added a .txt extention to allow posting. Sample below:
ChatDefault #FFFFFF
ChatError #FF0000
ChatStatus #F2CD00
ChatMOTD #F2CD00
ChatErrorLink #FF0000
ChatDefaultLink #FFFF00
ChatStatusLink #F2CD00
ChatMOTDLink #F2CD80
ChatSay #FFFFFF
ChatShout #FF0000

Very, very nice find!
I dont' personally have my chat colors set from anything but the default values, but the fact that you got this save colors file to work is very nice.
There are a few in the list that I can't wait to play with.
To bad they don't refreash instantly.
