Save content of a window possible ?

Would it be possible to save the contents of a game data window to an external file ? I want to export the item list from a player's house/guildhall. This is exposed to the client in the collect item window.

The reason for this is I would like to create a window to control the /save_layout and /load_layout commands while also exporting an item list used in layout. I have yet to try and figure out if I can pull that info directly from the saved layout file.

I attempted to search for the answer on this forum but only came up with an old post with the devs thinking about letting the UI save some variables out to a file.
