Working as it should?

Hi and just a short question:

EQ2map works great so far. Hit level 22 and decided to move to Nek Forest. Now the whole map is black. And even if i explore it there are no dots at all.

Is it supposed to not work in this zone? Same with Thundering Steppes,... just returned from a loooong break and seem to remember, that you can not turn the fog off in some zones. But not sure about EQ2maps, thought they are differend maps then the ingame ones *shrug*

Edit: just hit butcherblock. Black map, but with dots all over the map to help me find around,... now im kinda sure something went wrong with Nek and Steppes
