Skinpack broken with UI release 4.0

The skins from the ProfitUI Skinpack v3.2 are no longer working after installing ProfitUI Reborn 4.0.

Attached is a screenie of what it looks like.

I did notice this stuck at the bottom of the 4.0 release announcement on the main portal page...

Skins in the new style are not yet ready but will be made available soon. The skins in the classic style remain available and can still be used.

...however it is rather vague. It mentions old skins can be used, doesn't really mention they'll be messed up. Either way, forced to the default skin it seems cuz fugly ain't gonna fly
