ThorUI and EQ2 Maps questions

I've been hearing ThorUI is one of the best UI's for EQ2. I was thinking of trying it but I have a few questions.

1) Does ThorUI get updated regularly (at least as quickly as Cosmos UI did for WoW)?

2) Is ThorUI fully updated for Echos of Fayder at this point (if not I guess that answers question #1

3) Will it work well with EQ2 Map?

4) Is there a better UI I should use instead of Thor that will be around for a long time to come?
