Default Hotbar Settings Window Not Working.

I recently loaded Everquest 2 after I stopped playing for a few months. I was trying to change my Hotbar Settings, but after clicking that option from the Hotbar radial menu I am greeted with this window. Does anyone know the .xml file associated with this window so I may delete the custom .xml in my UI (and use the default file). Thanks.

Edit: BTW: I apologize if this question is answered in a previous thread, but I cannot access the search option (for forum searches), due the advertisement being superimposed over the search popup.

I looks like you're missing at least one core UI file from the default UI (and also possibly from the custom UI you're using).

Make sure your custom UI is the latest version. If the custom file doesn't exist for the Hotbar Settings window, you should be seeing the default window, which you're not. This indicates that your default UI directory isn't quite up to date.

I recommend running a full file scan just to make sure nothing was missed or corrupted. (Load up the launchpad and login, then click "Preferences" > "Full File Scan.")

The hotkey settings window is called eq2ui_popup_hotkeyoptions.xml
The parent of that window is called eq2ui_popup.xml so I'm guessing that eq2ui_popup.xml is missing the <include> line for eq2ui_popup_hotkeyoptions.xml

Yes, since you're using Profit, make sure you have Profit 3.3.

He's apparently using some custom modded version of ProfitUI, nothing that I released, but yeah, the official version does not have that problem (and never had).

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

Thanks. I was missing the eq2ui_popup_hotkeyoptions.xml file in my custom UI Directory, so I copied the one from the default directory and added the <include> lines to the eq2ui_popup.xml. Now it is working

Yes, it is a modified version of Profit v3.2, I think. I like to tweak the .xml files and try to determine what variables modify what aspect of the interface. Though I what most of the .xml files are responsible, I cannot be sure if I am missing any, which is probably why I had this problem. What I don't know is if the file was completely missing from the directory why wasn't it added when I patched?

Thanks for the quick reply and helpful information.

The patcher will not add files to custom UI directories (thankfully). Also, you should not add files to your custom UI directory that are not modded. If you had not copied eq2ui_popup.xml to your custom UI directory in the first place (and I doubt that you modded that one), you would never have had this problem.
