I was having same issue on my gaming laptop (which I sometimes use for work too). I had no issues on my main gaming PC. So, I began to think it is something with the setup. As it turned out, the settings in my Internet Explorer were using Internet Properties->LAN Settings-> Use automatic configuration script (and the value was
http://wpad/wpad.dat). As soon as I unchecked this option, everything got fixed.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
