(Both)EXP bar %'s for adventure/tradeskill/vitality, Time, Zone
This is an experience bar that is fully functional As of the 2/01/05 patch. It has
Adventure % w/ Decimal
Tradeskill % w/ Decimal
Adventure Level
Tradeskill Level
Adventure Vitality Gem, Arrow, and %
Tradeskill Vitality Gem, Arrow, and %
Adventure Class
Tradeskill Class
Real Time and Date
Zone Time
Zone Name
There are 2 versions of it, A single bar and a double bar version.
I will post an arial version for those of you who prefer arial. It will just take me another hour or 2 to get it up.
EDIT: there were 2 "Combat Experience Disabled" texts, it has been corrected please redownload the file if you are experiencing this bug.
ARIAL: If you have the quickarial mod, or you want the text for the exp bar to be arial download the zip file with ARIAL in the name. If you use the non-arial zip file with quickarial it will cause alignment problems with the exp % so please use the zip file with arial in the name.
Very nice work. So nice I abandoned fixing up the one I used to use and just swapped yours in.
One thing, the "Combat Experience Disabled" tag 'shadows' itself. Turns out there are two text laels for it. Removing the first seems to fix the problem.

Thankyou for letting me know, this has been now been corrected so anyone who has this problem just re-download the file.
Taco Man,
I Love this mod. Saved me hours of work. I was in the middle of rolling my own, and once I saw yours, stopped. Yours is almost exactly what I was going after! The single bar is perfect.
I did notice that the updated stock UI placed Combat Experience Disabled over the exp bar. It would be nice if the toolhelp/mouseover text could display different status when exp is disabled, and it would be nice to have that Disabled text back as well.
Hey guys, just thought i'd let you know i had an issue when i loaded this up where i had no graphic for the circles that are supposed to be at either end of the xp bars... Mouseover there worked great, but no image. Deleted my \images\widgets02.dds from my CUSTOM ui directory, along with several others, and this seemed to fix the problem. Just a FYI.
new exp bars look great, but .... for me is a bit cluttered. im using a ui that puts the zone name with compass. was wondering if you could make a copy of this exp bars mod that doesnt have the zone name, and also remove the times and date, and the debt % ( not like ever have much debt for long and mouse over shows ) just leaving the classtitle, level , the actual bar , and the exp% and vital %.

sure, i would be happy to, but which one do you want, the single or double bar version?
More of a request really. I use your single version and love it. Was wondering if you could/would add a third bar to this with the Guild level indicator?
Well I'm having a problem with all of it. I love the looks of these bars and would really like to see the vitality portion, however, nothing works on my screen. I installed it like the install instructions says to do but nothing. Here is what i did:
How do I install a custom interface?
Currently the interface command /loadui works in a sense it loads the custom interface but if you use it your interface will not work correctly. So here are the steps to use for now to load a custom interface and have it work.
Current Install Steps:
Download the interface you wish to use
Make a new folder with any name BUT with no spaces or special charaters (example: bobsui) in the UI folder that is inside your Everquest II directory.
Unzip the xml, dds, tga (dds, tga's must be in a images sub-folder) files into your newely created folder. Please make sure you dont have a folder inside of a folder when you do this. %\Everquest II\UI\bobsui\jillsui\*.xml (wrong) | %\Everquest II\UI\bobsui\*.xml (correct)
If you are going to use multiple interface peices just unzip all of them into the same folder.
Go back to your Everquest II directory and create a new text file and put the following code inside of it:
Code:
cl_ui_skinname bobsui
cl_ui_subdir UI/Save the file as eq2.ini (make sure you dont save it as eq2.txt or eq2.ini.txt)
Load up Everquest II and your new interface should be working.
But part of my problem is that even without this mode added I still can't get over the fact that my xp bar is the only window that doesnt allow me to set the frame and title together. My only options are either none or frame only. Is there something I can do to fix this? If anyone can help please say so as I astounded by this.
NM, I figured it out. When I installed the EQ2 MAP interface the install made a EQ2 config file all I needed to do was add the new lines for the additional folder where the xp bar files were. Thanks anyway.
However, I still have the problem of not having the ability of selecting Frames and title, all i get is none or frame only. If someone could help with this I would appreciate it.
