Maps are all blank all of a sudden!

I've come accross a bug in eq2maps and I can't seem to fix it. I have maps but NO icons besides zone gates. No npc dots, no poi dots and no mob dots, just the blank map.

I d/l the newest updater version (1.0.06 i think) and let it update normally ... that didn't work.

I went into options and told it to redownload the files..that didn't work.

I manually deleted the maps, icons, and image files out of the eq2maps folder and let the program redownload it...same results.

I completly deleted eq2maps , downloaded the exe again and reinstalled...same results.

Any ideas what to do next?

Is that on all maps or a specific one and does closing and reopening the map window help?

Oh and does EQ2MAP work at all, eg does the world map have the zone connection overlay?

All maps (zones) are like that. I tried opening and closing the map. I also clicked on "hide icons" and then "show all" and then I closed and reopened the maps. No luck.

Yes the world map does work. It shows the travel connections.

I'm not really sure what went wrong there. You can drop the attached file into your UI\<YourCustomUIFolder>\EQ2MAP folder, that will revert the changes.

I think that may be your problem. There is no visible tr ue... evil space, gettin' in there and messing things up

I can confirm this. all of a sudden after latest update, my maps PoI or for that matter mob marks, any marks dont show at all, though they are registered, since POI finder sees the poi's and lets me click them, however The markers themselves are gone.

I am getting this same problem only it is limited to the old world zones like Commonlands, Thundering Steppes, Antonica are all POIless but anything new like RoK zones are just fine with all the POIs showing. Can't figure it out. trying redownloading all files now. But it was already updated and said it has dl'd everything but trying anyways

Known issue with default EQ2MAP (should not happen if you also have ProftiUI).

Close and reopen your map window to work around it. I also posted a fix for default EQ2MAP here, but the updater will overwrite it the next time you run it.
