Patreon wont take my money

Have tried to become a subscriber via the Patreon portal. My CC is being declined though. Card works fine for other online services so I know the card is working fine.

Is this a known thing?

Ive tried payment via Apple Pay as well. Same issue.
I wont use PayPal though so please dont suggest it.

Wish I could help -- would love to have you join us. Patreon restricts all visibility into the membership/payment side of the site, so creators can't help at all in that regard unfortunately. The best advice I have seen is to contact the bank that issued your card and see if they are blocking Patreon. I have heard that some banks object to certain types of content that are hosted there, and so they block the entire company outright.

Spoke to my bank this morning. They arent seeing the transaction request coming through from Patreon or its card processor.

I've opened a case with Patreon's help team. Will see what they say.
