Possible to change in game music?

I know most of it is client side, would it be possible to change the music without failing any CRC checks from the server?

I know I've tried in the past, just plopping in other MP3's and renaming them, but the patcher would redownload the file. So, i'm not too sure. You could try launching straight to EQ2, bypassing the patcher, but you would have to patch eventually I guess

Users can modify sounds by placing properly named .wav files into /ui/sounds or /ui//sounds

You can also put zone music in this folder (as .mp3), so long as it is named correctly. I replaced a friend's crafting music with the loituma polka for awhile. He was less than amused.
