Default A good UI?

I just started playing EQ2. My characters that I am using are a bruiser, defiler, sorcerer, and necromancer (t least these are the ones i am playing around with). Can anyone suggest a good UI to use please? I've been searching around this site and see a lot of packages, but since Iam newtoEQ2 I don't know what would be good to have in a UI.
I was playing WOW and I see that UIs are done differently in EQ2.
Could someone please suggest a good one to use, especially one that is not too advanced since I am new to the game. I do have experience using UIs from WOW so I at least have the basics on how to use them if they are set up similiar and such.

Thanks.

Might seem a strange suggestion since we are on a site for custom UI's, but why not start out with the default UI the game gives you and once you know what you like or dislike with it come here and select a custom UI you like.

The one suggestion I will make however is to download EQ2MAP.

If it does not work, you likely installed it incorrectly. Always try a clean install before reporting bugs.

I can only second that, the EQ2MAP is a must.

I use Fetish Nightfall myself, and i have to say i love it. Zonx has really made a great and beutiful UI there.

Asking for opinions as far as what UI to be using is like asking someone how you should decorate your house/apartment in my opinion. Although the majority of the mods found here show the same information, the information is rearranged in a different way as well as being shown in a flashier (more eye candy/colorful) kind of way.

Like gm9 stated, it all comes down to what kind of information you want to be displayed.

But I have to agree with gm9's comment about EQ2Map. That's a "must have" for any UI, regardless if you stay with the default UI or use any of the UIs here.

Note to self: I'm surprised gm9 didn't take this chance to pimp ProfitUI!

Thanks for the advice, You're right EQ2Map is invaluable. I 've been playing around with the default UI like you suggested and it isn't all that bad, but it does have its limits and could use something.
(I did just figure out that F11 brings up the fps stuff though after about 2-3 weeks of playing though.)
