pet unhide bug?

Greetings all... I am not sure if this is a ui issue, or just something stoopid that I did (more likely the latter)...

I have a pally... I cast his silly squire pet. I noticed when you click on him a window comes up. I wanted to give him a name. well, I must have clicked the pet hide check box on that window because now he is gone. I canceled him and recast, no show...

I logged out and in, no show. I shut down and restarted, no show.

I tried /pet unhide (figuring it would be the opposite of /pet hide)... no show.

the functionality of the squire pet seems to be different than a deity pet. when you click on the pet hide button from the start button bar, when you recast, the pet is again viewable (unless the new window where you can name the pet stays active somewhere).

Any ideas?

The button is only temporary (and a leftover really), setting the visible status via the petoptions window is permanent.

so how do I undo the pet hide from the pet window button? /pet hide, /pet show, /pet unhide did not bring the squire back. I originally got to that window by clicking on the pet. Without the pet being visible, how do I get that window back to deselect the hide option?

Can't test it as the servers just went down, but try /show_window Popup.PetOptions

there seems to be a bug with profit when you have more than 1 pet.. be it a fluff pet, diety pet, or your main profession pet, to where you cant use the petoptions window.

Everyone always blames Profit straight away...

It's not profit, but EQ2.

Just cast the one pet you want to change the options for and then you can use "/pet options"

If you have more than one pet, you can right click on the pet itself or on the pets control box and select "Pet Options"

i tried that before and it didnt work altho maybe it does now idk. it worked fine when i did it with the default UI.

/pet options worked after i cast the invisible squire. thankx a bunch for the assistance!
