Cant save sound volume settings with Fetish 9.1
Every time I login, I have to reset my volume again, but when I log off, it's never saved... Anyone else has this problem?
Btw, 9.1 has some problem with the latest update, it says a new window can't be showed unless UI updated.
Thanks!

I have to reset my sound too. The UI setting fix has been posted on the front page, you just need to add a few lines to your mainhud file---see instructions regarding detrimental effects and new guild bank options.

My sound won't save either; and the "fixes" posted here are for the detrimental window thing, which was an aside question, not the thread topic ... very annoying to think there is an answer, and its the wrong one ...

If you want your volume settings to save and you don't use the added functionality of the start button (the settings buttons and the volume sliders -- I don't) just delete the startbutton's xml file from your fetish install to revert to the default one, which one play around with your volume settings.

If I understand correctly you want the game to save the volume (and not the window). I made a quick hack to Zonx' file for that, only downside is that the sliders will not remember their position now. If that isn't the problem, disregard this post.

Those volume sliders never saved the data from one session to another. Personally, adding those to the start button was the only thing Zonx has included in his Fetish kit that I loathe. Everything else is awesome.
The attached start button is the one from the Fetish version prior to when those volume slides were added. If you use it, no more volume slides, which means no more resetting of your saved values. Someone else posted it in another thread, and I didn't have the time to do a search for it. Apologies for reposting it.
I personally keep it in a seperate folder, and replace the one in each Fetish update after it installs.

This issue has been addressed with release 9.2.
Apparently at some point my original StartButton file got auto-updated by UIBuilder and made it into the release set (which hosed the saving of sound settings). The 9.2 version fixes the problem by loading your saved settings on login and only loading the settings coded into the StartButton file when the volume settings are displayed. I do still recomend tweaking the values in the XML to your prefered settings, but it should be far less important.
