Bottom bar always hiding?
Hello,
I've just come back to EQ2 and I've been fiddling with different UI's, and I'm rather fond of this one though I have one little annoyance that I can't seem to figure out. The bottom bar, with all the stats and goodies on it, refuses to be visible for me any time except when the mouse is over it. I've played with the window transparency settings, and it reacts to changes in the mouseover transparency, but not the 'normal' one, even though everything is set to max it still just won't show its face.
I've looked through the FAQ and a few pages on the board here and haven't seen any mention of this, so I don't know if I'm just doing something wrong or what. Is it possible to make it always showing?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello again, and thank you for the link, but I have read the FAQ and played with the opacity sliders until I was blue in the face. The normal frame opacity is set to max, but the bottom bar still does not show until I mouse-over it. If I adjust the slider, I can see the changes being made, the bar changes its opacity as I'm sliding it and promptly dissapears again until I shift the slider it, but no matter where I leave it it still auto-hides as soon as I'm done. I've tried deleting my UI settings and loading the default 1280x1024 setup, but that doesn't change it either. I'm not sure if I'm just crazy or if I'm doing something wrong.
Any further help or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you.

Sure, I have FAQ's for everything:
FAQ, penultimate paragraph.
If it's not that, I don't know.

Try hitting F-10 a couple of times, if you have it showing the black border it sometmes screws with the slider settings.
Also, are you using full screen or windowed mode?

Yup, that was it. I can't believe I missed a step in the installation instructions, now I feel like a twonk. Sorry for wasting your time GM9, but thank you for it as well. You rock, and I love the UI!

Are you refering to the part about the smaller UI bottom bar? Because my bar doesn't show either at 1280x1024. Will I have to run a 1024 bottom bar to see it?

- /load_uisettings for the default ProfitUI 1280x1024 UIsettings
- The bar will be at the bottom. If it is still invisible, turn off your letterbox.
