Targeting circle

Anyone try to mod the targeting circle that spins under the feet of the target? I know there was a few for EQ1. They work on the same graphic file?

the files are ring_target.dss and ring_target_con.dss in the image folder. last i checked modding them had no effect on the in game target ring, but that was a while ago.
