DarqUI Unified


April 11, 2017: Stat Monitor
Characters with health and power in the millions can now use warning setpoints in the Stat Monitor. Choose Health Percent or Power Percent in the stat list to set a warning threshold based upon a percentage rather than the raw value


April 6, 2017: Icon Bar
You can now use TNAME (instead of %T) and ITNAME mnemonics when referencing targets and implied targets with the Icon Bar

Examples:
useabilityonplayer TNAME Murderous Design
tell TNAME Giving you some of my hate'!'
If you are transferring hotkey macros with the utility, replace any instances of %T with TNAME

Maintained Spell Monitor
There are some new display modes for the spell monitor (see image below). You can choose fixed (static) tile and icon-only modes to display spells in the specific order listed in the setup grid. You can also choose stacking tile or stacking icon-only mode which will display monitored spells only when they appear. Choose normal or large size version on the updater
Hotkey Sets
Save and load hotkeys for each character without macros or typing
Organize hotkey sets by purpose: AA spec, Ascension class, tradeskills, etc.
DarqUI Icon Bar
A new hotbar-styled window with 24 configurable icon slots
Offload seldom-used spells to the Icon Bar to free up limited hotkeys
Use the DarqUI Utility to transfer your character's hotkeys with just a click
Look up any spell and its icon by name from the Daybreak census server
Virtually any spell, ability, clicky item or macro can be assigned to a slot
Build fully customized commands with icons using the utility or in-game

Threat Window
As if the DarqUI Threat window needed more options, you now have much more flexibility in which sections of the window to display. Minimally, you can display the threat bar by itself. Or you can add any of the other six divisions (see image below)

Thanks to Wittmont for suggesting a more trim Threat window, as well as for his testing and commentary during development

Threat Alerts: configure the Threat bar to play a sound, change the color of the window background, or both when your threat level increases above a threshold that you set

Wardrobe
Your character's Wardrobe listing has been added to the EQ2Inventory page
Wardrobe is searchable, offers EQ2U and in-game links, and is included in reporting
Font Styles
Two new font styles, Franklin Gothic and Trebuchet, are available on the updater
Update the font style of the entire UI with the selection of a single file
View samples of the new styles

Bank
Use the banking sidebar to move plat easily between bank, shared bank and inventory coin areas
Point and click the amount you want to move (see image below)
Extend and collapse the sidebar automatically when you mouse over a frame hotspot
New large size available on the updater, thanks to FoxdenVixen for the suggestion
Guild Bank
Guild Bank slots can be resized across all tabs and all characters at once

Also
Group/Raid census lookup will now search for Ascension spells
Empty stat slots in the StatMon grid are easier to deal with (utility)
Fixed a display issue when canceling the import of another character's bag profile (utility)
The Ascension XP bar orange gem now toggles Ascension Knowledge spells

DarqUI Unified combines the best of DarqUI, DarqUI Live and EQ2Inventory into one, with some useful new features. Standard DarqUI users can now choose to make quick, permanent configuration changes right from the game screen while playing, as an alternative to loading up the external window utility. There is no longer a limit to the number of characters that can be customized, and many of the settings that were previously shared by all of your characters can now be configured for each character separately.

DarqUI Live users can take advantage of an all-new configuration app with features like Quick Setup, backup and restore, character and spell file maintenance, and a new lookup feature that queries Daybreak servers for spell lines and icons to use for your spell buttons. The DarqUI Unified configuration app has been rewritten from the ground up to provide all of the conveniences from the DarqUI Window Utility and the Live Updater. You will find many usability improvements and an uncluttered design that matches the familiar in-game window manager.

Large size windows DarqUI Unified offers larger-size versions of many windows to accommodate higher resolution monitors. Choose the size you prefer from the Updates page of the utility. These include Active Journal (quest helper), Casting Bar, Chat, Dissonance, Experience Bar, Group, Implied Target, Maintained Spell Monitor, Maintained Spells, Mercenary, NPC Spell Monitor, Pet, Player, Raid, Savagery, Target, Threat and Tracking. DarqUI windows that were already usable with higher resolutions include Detrimental Effects, Hotbars and Spell Effects.

EQ2Inventory Track and search equipment, bags, bank, shared bank, house vault, mount inventory and up to 9 houses, guild hall and player-made dungeons per character from the DarqUI Unified interface.

Chat Log Parser features keyword, category and date/time searches that recognize English, German and French log files. Use the preset category filters or build your own using regular expressions.

EQ2MAP integration Install and update EQ2MAP alongside DarqUI with a single click.

Help system Help files are now available for all DarqUI Unified windows and utility functions. Context-sensitive help information can be accessed externally from the window utility or from the window manager in-game. Use the new, more robust "Make default" feature on the Files page of the utility to set DarqUI as your default. This will prevent needing to use /loadui from the game window which crashes the awesomium browser.

Spell Suggestions There is a new French spell suggestion file in addition to German and English.

DarqUI Unified Notifications is a Windows tray icon that checks periodically for DarqUI and EQ2MAP updates. More information for setting up and using DarqUI_Notify can be found here. The app is optional, and is included in the download on this page.

Missing windows on logon.

I have 3 DarqUI window that I keep up all the time:
  • Icon Bar
  • Stat Monitor
  • Player Window/Extended Player Window.

About half the time I log back on, all 3 windows are missing, and I must bring up the menu to check/uncheck one of the options to get them to appear. Other times they are there on the initial screen as they should be.

Actually, really can't complain. I tried setting up the casting sequence as a native EQ2 macro, and it still screws up. Sometimes will cast 3 of the 4, but never quite right.

DarqUI Utility

Every time I open the utility to scan for updates it says A newer version of this utility is available (as seen in right of pic below) but I can not figure out where it is or how to get the newer version. I am really new to this (UI's outside of game one) so please bare with me. Any help? or do I just need to delete and re-download?

I don't know anything about a fury but I have encountered this before a long time ago. What I did to correct it was to place the fastest casting spell 1st, then in cast time sequence for the 2nd and 3rd and the longest casting spell last.

1. Primal Fury 2 sec
2. Reprieve 2sec
3. Lucidity 3 secs
4. Spirit of the bat 3 secs



If this doesn't work perhaps Darq can provide better idea.

Question about setting up the Icon Bar

As a Fury, I have 4 maintained spells that must be recast upon death. I tried setting up a single Icon Bar slot to recast all four. The image of the Icon Bar slot 24 is shown in this post.

The problem I have when I click on this Icon Bar slot is that only the first and fourth commands are executed, the 2nd and 3rd are not.

Maybe its something that can added with the next census, but yes for the group members.

The only distance info available is for target and implied target. I could put the number on the group member that you have targeted, but I think you're wanting the info for all group members. Which would be a very good idea if it was possible.

Group member distances

What is the possibility of adding the distance to a group member to the group member window? This wold be a good thing for casters that buff and heal without having to guess the distance to members.

If you use the /loadui command, zone once before you believe anything you see It's gotten better over the years, but many bits and pieces of the interface -- default or otherwise -- still need you to zone once before they will reset correctly.

Thank you for pointing this out, it was an oversight when the new font styles were added but it should be corrected now. Get v3.020 of the Character window and let me know if you find anything else like that.

Adventure Skills window messing up

Not sure if this is a DarqUI problem or a game problem but my skills window is messing up. I am attaching an image of what I am seeing.
