| Category: Raid window4x Click to Heal/Cure -- Raid Window (All Priests) |
|
This download is for T8 spells. If you need T7, download version 1.2 or edit the XML.
The short history of this mod is that I wanted an easy way to heal raid members outside of my group without lots of steps.
The main feature of this Raid Window mod is 4 buttons next to each raid member.
Pressing one of the buttons will do the following sequence: - Clears queued abilities -- So that the spell attached to the button is the next cast
- Cancels any current casting -- Optional (Different files in the download)
- Casts the button ability on raid member -- No target switching occurs; /target_previous history stays intact
This version of the raid window will automatically detect your priest class and switch spell sets. The T8 equivalents of minor heal, arch heal, single target specialty heal and "Cure" are default. No XML modifications are needed unless you wish to change these defaults, or you are not a priest class with predefined defaults.
This raid window can be resized to different column/row arrangements. 4x1(1060px/120px) and 1x4(264px/475px) would be most common.
This version will also sync the backdrop opacity of each group window to the opacity slider in the Window Settings. This feature is not automatic but will sync when the window opens and when the mouse passes over the window. So when adjusting the slider, mouse over the window to preview the results.
v1.0 -- Aditu of Permafrost -- ACT Author -- aditu@maine.rr.com
First Release
v1.1
Class spell set switching, icons modified.
v1.2
Allows ability queuing now that it functions correctly in GU36. Optional version for canceling current casting or not.
v1.3
Updated to use T8 spells. Slightly different button event handler.
v1.3a
Updated the definition for Mystic1 to the correct spelling. 1.2's button handling again... I liked being able to hold it down and it would cast as soon as it noticed.
v1.4
Removed the level indicator. Added a "Cure" button to each raid member. Simpler button handlers attached to a unified function call. Linked each group background opacity to the main window backdrop opacity slider found in Window Settings.
v1.41
Removing the level indicator caused the client to stop showing that information in the tooltips... so it's just hidden, not removed now.
v1.5
Added voice chat indicators.
v1.51
Fixed Mystic typo. (again)

What do you think about modifying the raid window to include effects on your group? So you don't have to look at your group window at all during a raid.
|
Well, I suppose it is possible. But keep in mind that it would only be for your own group. We only get cure icon data for your own group, so the other three groups would be out of luck. I kinda wonder where I would put the icons however. I don't think I left myself much room.

I just wanted to say this is the best raid window I have ever seen and it works flawlessly. It queues up all the spells too without changing target.
Any chance we can see a group window like this one?

after todays service pack for .net the recognition for class works again. says Wärter as before.
unfortunately it doesnt identify and i can only use it in the "all others" spells for my warden (warden doesnt work either)
and i still have to put german names in there and special characters dont work, maybe i can do some tesing next couple days

As for the problem for only one PC... look for eq2ui_gamedata.xml and delete/repatch it. That's the only thing I can think of that would cause two systems to act differently in terms of DynamicData definitions.

Thx, but it says "Dynamic.Data not found"
that seems to be the cause of the problem, i tried the same command on my second PC and it replied Berserker (for that char correct). tried also with that char on the other pc, says Wärter. So it seems to be limited to this pc.
also tried renaming the UI subdirectory so no UI extensions are loaded. same result.
a temporary fix for healing is that i put the healspells in the no priest class section at least i can heal a bit
full filescan also same result. i am running out of ideas now...
any idea what could be broken?
and the ß instead of the ß doesnt work

Funny, the cure still works, but all the Heal spells i get a msg like "spell not available any more"
before gu48 i had to rename Warden to the German name Wärter (worked with that Umlaut) and the Spells to the German Names (only 1 with an ß in it didnt work, but i put the T7 master there- although i have the T8 one by now)

but now nothing i try seems to work, not with Wärter or Warden, not with English or German spellnames - always the same error, only cure works.
I do assume it still might come from the class identificaition but i am not enough into that stuff to really check and debug it - help or suggestions would be REALLY welcome

|
I tried fiddling with this once. It seems that the icon graphics cannot be changed at run-time, but I suppose 4 or so versions of the icon could overlap and only have one visible at a time.

I'm afraid the UI doesn't have that information available about raid members outside of your group.

i absolutely love this raid window... and i've desperately tried to mod it a little bit myself, like i added my coercer to the list for arcane cure and mana flow successfully.... [note - in my tweak, my healer alts still use the all-in-once Cure]
BUT - i would love to be able to see the 4x icons change slightly when i'm playing a coercer versus a mystic (i.e. - if each spellname variable can change, is there a way to make the 4x icons a variable too? so that they change for each class?)
also - i would love to see when raid members are under an effect, even if the effect itself isn't clickable, and the plus sign icon has to be used to cure
also - i'd LOVE a very similar grp window, as i've found most of the grp windows kind of lacking this streamlined look....
any suggestions would be much appreciated. sorry to bother

*sigh* That's probably what I get for having too many versions floating around.
