Add Strings?

Is there any way to add strings together ie. something like "your current level is " + /gamedata.self.level

Not that we've found, and many of us have tried every trick we can think of. There's almost nothing we can do to string. No truncate, concatinate, search, indexof, split, nada. Get and put seams to be it.
