I have tried the eq2.ini and still no luck

I have tried everything suggested on this site to get UI addons working and no luck.

I have made the ini pointing 2 my dir name in the UI dir. but nothing happens.

Does this file need to be set to read only maybe?

Any help will be appreciated.
