Post [map] log for "The Trembling Lagoon"

feerrott+feerrott_epic01_temple.iop

This is a small lagoon zone with an island in the middle with a 52^^^ Epic(x4) encounter:
  • Overlord Oxulius
  • Pkzwk Tzkr
  • A strange guardian (several)
Where you enter from the Feerrott, there's a little creek coming through the mountains that goes to a small pool. Then, there is a band of Feerrott-like forest. Then you have the beach leading to the water. Surrounding the lagoon is rocks/mountains.

Since I'm only level 36, I decided not to map the island. ;-)

I converted the log file to SVG format, and cleaned that up in Inkscape. (I've attached the PNG version.) Unfortunately, my Photoshop Elements won't handle the remaining Photoshop tasks.

Your log file is missing some significant details, such as the shore line and the island.

Yep, you're exactly right. I don't think the 52^^^ Epic(x4) mobs would have appreciated it.

There is a non-epic version of that zone that has much lower mobs.

It's the same map, just not deadly

Thumbs Up

Ah ha! I overstand.

Then, maybe you mapping wizards can use the IOP name to associate the existing map with this instance of the zone. I just popped in while exploring and saw no map, so wanted to help.

Keep up the good work!

Actually, it is the same IOP name. That's why we have so much trouble with the Splitpaw maps - they almost all use the same "Map", IE: Same internal Map Name, but have different portions blocked off. There are quite a few maps that are reused, particularly for smaller instances.

For example, there are about 4 different "zones" for the Cove of Decay, with different mobs, levels, and events. The same is true for the "Trembling Lagoon" and, heck, even all of Cazic Thule is used for the Froglock Epic zone.
