Downloaded 1/8
How comes the window of eXtreme AUCP always says: "downloaded 1/8" without any further progress?
Little side note: I cannot see my breath bar anymore. Anyone an idea how to get it back?

Good fracken question!
Does it always every time you run it show that? I know you said always but sometimes people say that and don't really mean always but mean most of the time or ok the last time they ran it.

I mean "always" as in "always"... I waited about a week before reporting this.
Here is an update, just to show that I am not talking garbage here

ROFL ok ok I believe you
does it ever start downloading at all?
I see the status window says scanning... Do you ever see resolving host, connecting, downloading there?
Try rename 2 or 3 files in the eXtreme folder and see if it downloads them. It might just be reporting wrong. I'll look at it tonight when I get home and see if I can find something.

Well well!
Curiously enough, that did the job, apparantly!
Here to the left, the window after I renamed one of the files, and to the right, the one after I restarted the thingie...
Seems to be okay now!
Thank you very much!

Problem as such still exists.
I do can use the "workaround" you gave me, but still it's weird.
Okay, if I do NOT force the update, the game runs without any flaws (as far as I can see it).
The curious thing is, that I just had the problem again. I started up the window... it said "downloaded 1/4" and stopped.
So I opened up this link and shut the window.
Now I saw you asked me

Hmmm... didn't not that question before. Okay, let's run the program again.
And tadaaaaaa... it downloaded... without me doing anything.
But in the update notes window, I see you added some bug fixes.
Maybe THAT gives you a clue?
I restarted the proggy and no problems now.
I will definitely update this matter as soon as I have the same prob again.

I guess (not sure) if you try to update while I am updating the files at the host it could cause that. I do have code in place to block updating while I am updating the host files, but I tend to forget to toggle it before I update.

That would mean that you are updating the files at the host 99% of the time?
It rarely happens that the updater really downloads the files.

Just adding my two cents here. Mine has been doing the same thing, and no i don't get a connecting or anything. Once I decided to just let it scan and not log in, and after 2 hours was still the same. Yes, it does it always.... BUT two days after the patch that added the sharing quests got all the progress and such, and next day back to scanning. Hope that helps ya figure it out. O, and I log in/update at all different times of day, so shouldn't be while you are making changes.
BTW ~ LOVE IT
