What resolution were the preview screenshots taken in? I have everything set up for 1024x768 resolution along with the smaller hotkeys file and it still seems things are a bit big - mainly the top area. If I put everything up at the top like as in the screenshots I'd be able to fit everything except for about half the compass.
If you look at the top you can see that the Target and Implied target windows won't fit. I also enabled the backdrops for the buff and group windows on the left to show how they fall into place. I'm trying to make my interface identical to the one shown in the preview screenshots but it's not happening.

An easy way to show the backdrop is to press F10.
My setup is 1280x1024 which is how I designed the UI.
I did include a 1024x768 ui file, which I've suggested people use, this does cut short the upper left area, so I added the coins to the effects window.
I also do not use smooth fonts, as in my opinion they suck !
Please see this screen shot for how I set up 1024x768
http://www.eq2interface.com/download...ew.php?id=3684
It's changed a little since that version, and I've reflected thoses changes in the ui file (rename as per your server and player name).

Found a cosmetic issue:
The experience percentage at the top does not match the experience shown in the bar of the guild window. It is either 1% more or 1% less than the actual amount.
EDIT: Somebody just completed a writ and instead of going to 80% it went back to 79%. This is a random bug, it seems.

Pet window add-on
I whipped up a pet window add-on for us necros/conjs. It fits good up top at the two resolutions I run. 1600x1200 on my desktop and 1400x1050 on my laptop. Not sure if it will fit good at a lower res, but you can place it wherever you want. The add-on has been uploaded, and awaiting approval.

here is a simple set of steps for you
1. delete the eq2ui_mainhud_hotkey.xml file in your profit ui directory.
2. rename smaller.eq2ui_mainhud_hotkey.xml to eq2ui_mainhud_hotkey.xml
thats it

Thanks for the autoattack indicator, it's nifty.
I also use smooth fonts after deciding it wasn't worth the trouble to try and recapture the pre LU11(?) arial font style i had. Without smooth fonts on everything is difficult to read at 1600x1200, not to mention some text is downright jagged, so unless someone has worked out a way to see text clearly at that reso, i'll have to deal with the minor crowding here and there.

Any chance you could add a way to make the group window go horizontal in an update? Would help in reducing clutter on a single side of a screen.

Changes to 1.3
* Optional Horizontal Group window.
The file is included in the main download, and appropriately named for recognition.

btw can you re-pack you zip file for some reason with each update you got fewer and fewer files in there - like some of the actually windows on the main hud like bank, socials, etc that you changed in prior versions 1.4 and sooner but are no where to be found now

Here's a screenie of a font issue with the experience fonts, not sure if you can resolve this.
BTW I love this mod. I was previously using OCD but the new player and target changes didn't really turn my crank. The only problems I've had with the profit UI is that the bags were *way* to small for a 1280x1024 17" LCD screen, and the tracking window was much too large. Ended up ripping the bag and track xml files from OCD and using those instead.
Otherwise, great work. A couple of my guildies have also switched over to using it after I posted a screenshot the other day

Oh one other quick issue with 1.4, I used the ini settings for 1280x1024, but whenever my Dirge tries to cast a buff that requires a concentration slot and I have none free, I see "Not enough" instead of "Not enough concentration", although I can't find the window that needs to be resized to fit it in.

I have the file for the horizontal group window but I can't get it to work for the life of me. Dragging the group window sideways isn't happening and I can only go vertical with it. Is there some way to enable the horizontal drag?

You have to rename the horizontal file by removing the words before eq2.

It's attached to the casting bar - please resize that.

Az is correct.
Taken from front page:
To use the alternative files please rename them:
i.e. remove the smaller. or horizontal.

That is an unfortunate effect we get if we dont use monospaced fonts.
Bascially Sony only let use (in the case of 59.1%) 59% and 91% - we have to hide the 9 from the 91%. the artifact you see only appears when we have .1, as 1 is the smallest width character.
Why sony wont give us the full xp I will never know.

manastone window
First like to say, very well done UI. I have one question: The alarm window, for "Manastone Ready!" - It seems to close when hitting the ESC key on the keyboard. Is there anyway to disable this? I've temporarily worked around it with a hotkey that reopens the Alarm window ( dont remember the command off hand ). In any event, I'm simply asking if there is a way to make it NOT close when hitting ESC.
Thanks again, great job on the UI, Profit

Attached are some changes I've been toying with:
Smaller %'s, target re-arranged (name at top, % same as player)
any way, looking for some feedback.

Looks very nice!
However, I personally like it the way it is, but that's me.
