Vert 4.2 is GU40 / RoK compatable, assuming they didn't change anything major between beta and release later today.

Don't try to use until your server has RoK patched.

Custom Vert Files are no longer inside eq2_mainhud.xml and in eq2_custom.xml instead meaning if SOE patches in new files now it shouldn't break the UI.

Smaller in size as i've started removing files the builder put into vert that were just duplicates of the default ones.

Suggest Full re-install of the UI so you don't keep older versions of files vert no longer includes.

Already know the scroll bar is missing on Achievements window, but waiting to see if any other bugs are found before releasing the fix.

just had a quick glance, looks like i just forgot to change the version number... as a quick fix yourself for those capable of it just edit eq2ui_mainhud_openedmail.xml and add version="2.0.0" on the very first line before the closing >

after todays patch (16th of November) i no longer can get into game when using the best UI called vert reborn. i soo want it back again! seems like persona is crashing the game when i log in.

edit : and after full filescan *again* it works properly again! was a silly soe-file that didnt wanna work with me =) thanks for the work on this ui! *bows*

Edit 2: is there anyone else but me that get a crash after the downtime the 19th of november when using Vert Reborn??
it worked as it should pre downtime, but after it crashes me every time when im about to enter world. Any help is appreciated cause the original ui is driving me crazy =)

Abbelyn i've been trying to fix the small things you've pointed out but this one

Personal window also does not display the dropdown in the correct area on the tab with the skills.

I don't see any drop downs at all in the skills section of persona window, can you explain more?

I attached a screenshot....it is actually buttons in the middle of the info in the page, not a pulldown, my bad....I blame late days (I work nights)

Also included screens of the merchant window and the factions issue with the persona window, just incase =)

I've also verified that with a slight modification to the scrollbar (to point to the T Styles one used throughout Vert) both of the DrumsUI files for Persona and Merchant (not Broker) work perfectly, you may want to double check those if you are having trouble finding the wayward code (I know pretty much enough to modify windows, that's it)

Mostly decorative fix

- Skills tab locked to top instead of bottom of persona window
- Scroll bar restored in factions tab of persona window
- names in implied target window shifted down a few pixels
(on this one I never noticed if being cut off, so let me know if this fixed it)
- Added a bit more space to merchant window text
- The reason the text is cut off now is sony added 2 icons to this window, in the default they went on the end since they don't care about space on the screen.. I placed them beside the current icon that shows to try keeping things the same size. If the text being cut off is an annoyance you can resize the window to the right and the space for text grows large enough to fit everything.

A few thing I noticed recently, not sure if they were there before, or if they were meant to be that way. It seems some areas of the guild window do not have scrollbars and they are only viewable entirely if you expand the window vertically. Not really an issue, just something I noticed =)

I have loved Vert ever since EQ1 Days.

Problem i am having:
(1) My pet window buttons have no writing on them. Blank buttons but do the right thing.

(2) POI Finder scroll bar is missing.

Great add on otherwise.

Also notice that in the quest log you can not toggle on/off to show repeatable quests. Seems like all these things should be pretty simple to fix, hope to see update soon. I love the UI

Hey Ciner, the scrollbar on extra mods is an easy fix.

open the xml file, search for the term "scrollbar"
at the end of the paragraph there should be a line for Style

removed what is in the quotes and enter this to fix the scrollbar.
"/t_Styles.default_vscroll"

I don't readily see what xml folder you mean. The eq2ui.xml , or I have an eq2ui_scrollbarStyle.XML and i have a t_Styles.xml. Looked in all 3, didn't see what you were refering to.
