Two XP-bar windows?

Hi,

I use the old XP-bar and the old startbutton. But I don't like it that the startmenu appears near the XP-bar (which is hardcoded I read here).

My idea is to have two XP-bar windows, one minimized and barely visible for positioning the startmenu where I want to have it, and the second for normal use.

I copied the eq2ui_mainhud_experience.xml and named the file eq2ui_mainhud_experience2.xml and have included the name into the eq2ui_mainhud.xml

I have included this commands into my eq2ui_mainhud_compass.xml
OnShow="show_window=(MainHUD.StartButton) show_window=(MainHUD.StartButton)" OnShow="show_window=(MainHUD.Experience2) show_window=(MainHUD.Experience2)"

I also tried this
OnShow="show_window=(MainHUD.StartButton) show_window=(MainHUD.StartButton) show_window=(MainHUD.Experience2) show_window=(MainHUD.Experience2)"

But I don't get two XP-bars. What did I wrong, please?

Hi

you use : show_window=(MainHUD.Experience2) but the window name is Experience

In your eq2ui_mainhud_experience2.xml , search at the 2nd line for : Name="Experience" and replace by Name="Experience2"

You also need to include the file in the ui. Either in MainHUD, which I don't recommend or in custom. It would then be show window Custom.Experience2

OK, with the help of you both I got two XP-bars on my screen but sadly it didn't worked as expected. Including into MainHUD had no effect. Including into Custom worked but the second bar was always visible, even at the loading screen.
Data was also only right in the Experience2 window, the normal window showed level 0. The second window had also no options to control.

I guess that thing to do is more complex than I had expected, so I let it be and live with the hardcoded position of the game menu.
