Default Laffs window mods

Hi,

Thanks to all that have downloaded my humble mods

So feel free to post feedback here in way of comments, surgestions, (bugs, ugg, if any found post comments about them somplace else that I will never think of looking lol)

BTW .. all the mods me done so far are working still after this new patch, Working on adding the buffers to the chat windows in next few days (or when and if I figure it out, hehe)

Thanks to Tony for all his help etc, and Mal for making Nedra UI in the first place that gave insperation to have a go at making some of my own stuff and making slight changes to Nedra UI itself, And anyone else I have forgotten

I got your latest chat window and would like to make 2 requests:

1. No scollbar version
2. I can not resize your window vertically as small as I can with the default window. Is there a way you can make it so the window is able to be shrunk down vertically as much as the default window?

Extra special request:
1. Ability to have the window have no chat input option and then expand to fill that space. I saw an early mod that had this option. This would be great for a combat window.

Thanks!!!

1. working on it , Maybe the scoll bar could be on the frame and title page and then when you go to the options and turn frame and title off the bar will go ? I will try that.

2. FIXED size problem

and lastly

1. only way I can see to do that is to make a new window and force it to load up when you log in (working on that also lol)

Heres the update with the size fixed.

Thanks... I've been working on these on my own as well ... I will try yours out right now

Scrolless would be huge for me I can't seem to get it to work... grrrr
I can get the scollbar to disappear but I am having a hard time getting the chat display area to move over to take it's place without messing up the other functions of the chat window.

Thanks for your help!

Scrollbar seems to be working on the title page, then in theory if you choose the option to hide title then the bar should go as well

Seems to work ok in the UI builder will test in game soon and let you know

Ok tested the update... great! Resize works great!

Now, if I could remove the scrollbar and have the text display move over to the left to fill the display I'd be set!

Remove the Chat input line as an option would be very cool as well, but the scoll bar removal is more important to me.

Thanks!

All my other attempts as above have had mixed results lol in other words FUBAR hehe

So if you just want to loose the scrollbar , either delete it or move it out of the window

Then resize the ChatDisplay to fill up the space

Well, I moved the scrollbar off, no problem.

But, when I resize Chat Display it messes everything up... no Tabs, no chat input... I can move the text display over correctly though.

If I could just get this part work, I'd be pretty much set!

Thanks for the help.

Hmmm ... Well that one has the old Resize problem, plus the scrollbar is there.
Maybe that's the wrong one?

Thanks for the help!!

Kool...

In the page ChatFrame

I selected ChatScoll in the left pane and then dragged the highlighted scrollbar in the right pane to the left (so it was outside of the chat window)

Then selected ChatDisplay in the left pane and dragged it in the right pane to the left to take up the space where the scollbar was.

There lots you can do in that right pane without having to type any sizes or stuff in

Default Updates to the group window

Updated the Nedra group window to include the Health % of group members this has been only tested for the location of the % at this stage, So not sure if it is working properly as yet....

Need some feedback and possibly some screenshots if it is not !

Thanks.

Note this is for use with the Nedra UI

Ok look forward to the feedback (or bug list even lol)

*EDIT* the health % shows up alright at 100% , but dont count down

I have tried 2 different methods to this and neither work

Dont understand why as the tooltip % countdown works when you mouse over it

Guess I need some help on this lol

Exclamation

Funny enough I have been playing around with putting other windows inside windows to see what works.

The effects window is basicly the same as the maintained window.. But the effects one dont seem to work in another window.. I have tried to code it into the player window and have tried to just <include> an edited version of the effects window into the player window .... Whilst it does appear in both cases it wont show any effects

So it looks like I am unable to do this as that is the only 2 ways I know of... Unless somebody else in here knows of a way to make it work ?

I learnt elsewhere in here that the dynamic data that I added to the group window above has not been activited in game as yet, So maybe when it is that will work

Thanks its nice to hear good feedback like that , Even if I can make one person happy with a mod then that makes me happy also

So on that note, I have been looking at the new maintained window and have found a way to get some control over it, Since most mods have it set to its minimum old size of 12 slots and stuff fits around that, Its not an easy task to "make" space as it were... But I thought about having it display say 15 then you can drag the top and it will open up to the show the others.. I got a version of that working only thing it wont let me change is the order in they display, Its set to down_left2right it will let me do up_left2right but it wont accept across lol
