So, I've followed the instructions as clear as possible , but whenever I go to log on to a character there is a client crash. It's whenever I put the Eq2.ini file into the directory. Am I doing something wrong within the UI folder settings? I just extracted the addons into the folder and such, but I dont know. If you have any ideas or if I'm somehow incompetant and missed a post like this, lemme know

Please post what is in your eq2.ini file.

Also it would help if I knew which mod you were trying to install.

The eq2.ini files needs to look something like this:

cl_ui_skinname MyUI <------ Name of the folder where the mod is installed
cl_ui_subdir UI/
cl_show_welcome_screen_on_startup 0

The eq2.ini file goes into this directory:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Sony\EverQuest II
Or
C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest II
