Because the collection quests in SF seem to be set within certain bounderies, can you make a collection quest icon so a person can know where certain collection quests are semi located.

Not allowing tons of different icons to be on the map only 1 per each collection quest representing that area. If you want you could have a ligh line to encompase the area that the collection are within when you highlight the collection quest icon.

"Region of Interest" (ROI) type icons are something Rothgar (EQ2 lead programmer) want's to put in, but it's not something currently supported.

Because of that, we don't have a specific icon for collectables, simply because they clutter up the map (and that's why I delete them every time I find em).
