eq2ui_mainhud.xml being overwritten

Hopefully someone can help me out.

I'm trying to add an emote dropdown list and the instructions were to add a
<include>eq2ui_mainhud_quickemotes.xml</include> to the eq2ui_mainhud.xml file. I've done that several times but each time, the eq2ui_mainhud.xml get overwritten when I run eq2.

I've tracked down the issue and it is apparently occurring during the eq2 update file check.

Sounds like your editing the eq2_mainhud.xml located in \UI\Default "That is checked at each login and is overwritten with current Sony versions".
You should be editing the eq2_mainhud.xml located in your custom UI folder.
