1. how long is the patch and on what kind of connection?
2. the patch message server status thingy has been wrong before

2) running in window mode to write this while creating character

2) you can go to character select without the server being up.

At the end of char creation all servers were listed as up when I selected unrest. and im currently playing

1) does eq2 players work for you? i still get a 403.. are locking non subscribed people out...?

2) if you can post on the eq2 boards, tell them to fetch my ui dev tool!

Unfair unfair!!!! My copy doesn't arrive until after 4pm, and I'm supposed to go to a concert tonight!

Up to the point that I read this post, I had been telling myself that it was going to be fine, because the servers probably wouldn't be up until tomorrow, or I'd have to patch for 3 hours anyway.

Would I really blow off a concert to play tonight? I may, I just may . . . .

well I just called the ebgames that i preordered from . they're saying they only got 2 - everquest 2 Collectors editions in. Now The ebgames webiste is saying they're are out of stock on the Collectors Edition. So I pd 90$ and I get to wait for restock... did SOE not make enough CE'd?

Here I sit stuck at work while the servers are up and my copy is waiting for me at home!

For those who are playing on Antonia Bayle- is there a special ruleset and if so, what is it?

I'm guessing they are either dummy accounts for the Playersite webmasters to test the webpage code with or they are characters of SOE employees.

/sigh I preordered weeks ago the special edition.... and its not here.. what good is overnight shipping if they don't send it?
