how to get clicky text item link

I would like to be able to create the clicky link of a item from the examine window... useful when wanting to repeat someone elses clicky link or when browsing the broker...

Anyone know what the command to create the clicky link in the text window?

You can use Othesus' great mod and just click the EQ2iDB button then copy and paste the item from the web page. As far as creating a clicky link in chat, i'm fairly sure it can't be done or Othesus would have done it.

There's a third party program that will do this...EQ2 Item Database. I'm not sure how often it's updated, but the last one was mid-April, so I'd venture it has most items covered.

Sorry, as far as I know it's not possible to get the actual item link from the examine window. Someone on these forums said that in EQ 1 you can shift click on the icon and it will paste a link into your chat window but you would have to /feedback to the devs to ask for that feature.

The closest thing we have is clicking on the web link for eq2llinks or eq2idb, copying the link from your browser, and pasting from there. They have almost every item available except some of the newest things so it works ok. It just requires a couple more steps.
